Following discussions at the FY20 SIP Coordination Meeting in May 2019, the FY20 UFS Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) will be more project-focused than previous iterations. The first development stage of the updated SIP will be in the form of “3-pagers” that outline potential SIP projects. These will be reviewed and evolve into an integrated set of proposals, which will form the basis of the FY20 SIP. NOAA Program Officers (POs) will coordinate the SIP development effort, and the updated SIP will be published in spring 2020.
